Known bugs with the shopping cart

This is a list of problems with the shopping cart that we know of, but we have no idea how to solve them.. (tech-idiots here)
- You have to choose a number as a state. Singapore is "1", Malaysia is "2" and we have no idea how the script assigns the numbers to the other countries. Just choose whatever they force you to choose. :P
- If you are paying via paypal, after you click confirm order, you will be redirected to paypal website to complete the payment. If you do not complete the payment, your order is NOT confirmed (although it appears in your order history) and the items remain stored in our store inventory, available for other customers to snap up! To overcome this, ensure that you complete the payment through the paypal site that you are redirected to.
- The weight displayed upon checkout says lbs, but it is actually in grams.

Regarding orders

Qn: Errmm... What is this "Order Number" you are talking about?
Ans: After you finish placing an order, you will receive an email confirming your order. At the top of the email, your order number will be stated. If you do not receive that email, either you have registered your email wrongly, or you did not complete the checkout process completely. Please contact us immediately if that happens.

Qn: Can I change my order after I have checked out?
Ans: If you have already made the payment, we will not accept changes. If you have not made the payment, we can cancel your order for you and return everything to the inventory and you can place your order all over again. However, be prepared for the possibility that someone else may come along and snap up a returned item in the process.

Qn: Can I cancel my order?
Ans: If you have already sent your payment, we can cancel your order, but there might be a surcharge, depending on your mode of payment. (Eg, if you paid by cash, we need to mail the cash back to you and we might charge you for the postage.) If your order has already been delivered, then there is no way we can cancel it.
If you have not sent your payment, we would appreciate it if you would inform us if you want to cancel your order so that we can return your items to the inventory for other buyers.

Regarding payment

Qn: Can I pay by any other methods other than the ones stated during checkout?
Ans: Let us know what payment method you are thinking of and we will see if we can work it out. We are open to suggestions.^^

Qn: I would like to pay by cash, do I have to round up to the nearest dollar?
Ans: Yes, you have to round up to the nearest amount such that you can pay with NOTES only. Please DO NOT send us coins.

Qn: I am from Singapore. Can I pick up my item personally to save the shipping cost?
Ans: We can try to arrange for a meet-up, usually on Saturdays in Orchard area. Indicate your interest to pick up items personally when placing your order and our representative will contact you to make arrangements for a meet-up.

Regarding shipping

Qn: It has been 3 weeks since my items were shipped but I have not received it yet!
Ans: If that happens, let us know immediately! We will submit an enquiry to the post office. Please note that enquiries take up to 3 months to process. So in the event where your item really cannot be traced, Singapore Post will only be able to issue us the compensation about 3 months later, and we will issue you your compensation after we receive it from them.

Qn: The package looks like it has been torn open before.
Ans: Customs open up random packages to check, and unfortunately, this is unavoidable and there is nothing we can do about it.
However, if your item has security seals (usually purchases above S$150 will have this), then you can reject the parcel if the seals have been tampered with and claim compensation from the postal service.

Qn: How is shipping calculated?
Ans: Shipping is calculated based on weight and location. Click here to view the shipping fees.

Qn: Why do I get the message "No shipping available to the selected country"?
Ans: Please contact us to let us know your country and we will add it to our database. We have not had the time to add in every single country yet, because there are just too many countries in this world. =P

Qn: Why do I get the message "Shipping cannot be determined at this time"?
Ans: The weight of your order exceeds the amounts we entered. Please contact us to let us know the weight of your order and we will do the necessary adjustments.

Qn: If I order "Coming Soon" items together with "In stock" items, does that mean I have to wait for the "coming soon" items to arrive before they are shipped together?
Ans: Yes. If you do not wish to wait, and would like to have the "in stock" items shipped to you first, please place seperate orders for your "Coming soon" items and "in stock" items.

Qn: I have an order that has not been shipped yet. I just saw something else I want to order! Can I add it to my previous order and have them shipped together to save shipping cost?
Ans: Yes. If you have a previous order that has not been shipped yet, you can place a new order, and under "Comments", specify clearly "Please combine shipping with order #(your previous order number)". We will recalculate the additional shipping cost you need to pay. If you do not state that you wish to combine shipping, we will assume you want the 2 orders to be shipped seperately.

Regarding stock

Qn: How come the price of the item changed??
Ans: We do our restocking in shipments of varying size and postage cost varies with it. Exchange rate also fluctuates with time, so we have to adjust the price accordingly.

Qn: There is an item sold in set, but I only want 1 particular piece. Can you split it up?
Ans: Please let us know which set and which piece in particular you are interested in. We will decide on a case-by-case basis. And please note that when we split it up, the cost per piece is usually more expensive than the average price per piece when we sell in sets.

Qn: Can I buy "Coming Soon" items together with "in stock" items?
Ans: Yes. However, your items will only be shipped out after the "coming soon" items arrive.

Qn: What about items that says "We will restock this item after you place an order"?
Ans: You may add them to you cart and checkout together with other items. However, please be prepared to wait the stipulated time period before we can get the item in for you. Also, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to restock it. There are times when there is no more stock in Japan, but we are unable to remove it from our site in time. If that happens, we will issue you a refund for that item and any additional shipping charges that item might have imposed.

Qn: What is bargain area?
Ans: Sometimes we receive items that are defective from the suppliers. When that happens, we dump it into the bargain area at a low price.
